侍(武士)とは、簡単に説明すると古代日本の貴族の姿です。
支配階級にあり、庶民とは異なる存在で、国の仕事(政治、役所のスタッフなど)は
ほぼ侍の仕事でした。
戦があれば国や主君のために戦うこともありましたが、江戸時代では
仕事にあふれ生活が困難な侍も沢山いたようですね。
